Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando at SeaWorld

My stay was great, and I really enjoyed the feel of having a small apartment type room. It was a perfect size for me and my small family. The breakfast was good, though it would have been nice to have more variety instead of the same options each day. The hospitality was nice and pleasant. Would stay again in the future.

Grateful for the staff every step of the way. When we arrived, our room had a maintenance issue and needed to be fixed. As there were no other rooms available, they set up a stay nearby. While the interruption was unwelcome, it was also unavoidable. And at the end of the day, it's not the mistakes that are made, it's how they are handled. The staff at Residence Inn made every effort to support us while displaced and do everything they could do make our stay wonderful when we returned. From the wonderful breakfast to the clean, comfortable rooms and lovely staff - we will be staying here every time we return to Orlando. The kitchen in the room made the trip much more feasible and comfortable for us. Location ended up being perfect for our stay. And while we chose to Uber, the shuttles were available as well. The marketplace in the lobby was a wonderful augment to having a kitchen in the room as we didn't even have to plan ahead to have key groceries available. Couldn't be more grateful for their team. I was there with my family of 6 this past November for three nights. This is the largest Residence Inn I've been to by far. The staff were friendly and professional. The common area and gym were well kept. The hotel were within the close proximity to the major attractions, Sea World is literally less that 8 minutes drive from the hotel. I had an issue with walking down the corridor on the main floor from the lobby to the elevator during the stay. It had a strong odor of marijuana everytime I walk through and it was only in the location. I was not sure if it was emanating from one of the guest rooms or it was from outside, but it was a strong enough oder to bother me. As for the bedroom... there were no extra set of linens for the sofa bed in the room and we had to wait quite sometime for the linens to be delivered. It would be nice if they change out the sofa bed mattress as I have yet to see a sofa bed mattress that isn't stained or cruddy looking. PSST... Residence Inn by Marriott, what do you think about the sofa bed mattresses?

Stayed here and it’s a decent spot overall. Suites are spacious with kitchenettes, the big pool is clean and a highlight, and the location is great—right by SeaWorld and Discovery Cove with a free shuttle to both. Breakfast gets chaotic every morning with crowds and slow service. Elevators crawl at a snail’s pace. Plenty of parking, but it’s a daily fee. Could definitely use a few upgrades—the old carpeting feels worn and dated, along with some other tired elements in the rooms.

Updated Review Draft Rating: I’m having such a great stay here! From the moment I arrived, it’s been incredibly easy to just relax and enjoy myself. The entire place is so well-maintained, and you can really tell they care about the details—the rooms and facilities all smell so fresh and clean. The outdoor pool and spa area are super comfortable and were definitely a highlight. What really made the evening, though, was the cafe. The food was an excellent dinner choice, and it was so nice to be able to stay right here at the hotel instead of having to get back out into traffic. The customer service here is top-notch. It’s a rare treat to show up and have everything taken care of so you can truly unwind. I highly recommend this spot!

We stayed here with our family of 5 on a trip to Orlando. The hotel pool was great but was also busy. There was also a hot tub and a sports court. The rooms were clean, large, and affordable. There was a daily parking fee. The breakfast was organized chaos. It’s a big hotel with lines for the free breakfast at peak times. It’s nice that they include it, but it was very busy and hard to navigate for families with kids. I suggest grabbing a table before having everyone in your group go through at once. The resort did add in some fun DJ at various points which was fun. Overall, it gets the job done for a value in a busy place and is backed by the Marriott Brand.

Well maintained and in a fantastic location for park access and convenience like outlet makes, restaurants and shops. The breakfast was good, but repeated daily. A little variety would be nice. Staff from front desk to housekeeping we're all very helpful and polite. Room was comfy and clean. Kids love the pool! Big with great shade for the parents.

We stayed five nights as a family at the Residence Inn by Marriott at SeaWorld and were very satisfied with our experience overall. We booked a two-bedroom apartment, which included a spacious living area with dining space and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment also had two bathrooms, was very clean, and offered plenty of room for a family, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was served daily. While it’s not a traditional European buffet, there were freshly prepared hot omelets, sausages, and waffles every morning, along with a continental selection. With fresh fruit and a variety of yogurt options, it was easy to put together a satisfying breakfast each day. The pool area was another highlight: one larger pool heated to around 25°C (77°F) and a smaller, very pleasantly heated pool at about 39°C (102°F)—perfect for relaxing in the evening.
